Warranty Coverage
SunRay warrants to the original consumer that its products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal applications and service conditions for a period of twenty-four (24) months after the original date of purchase, but not to exceed thirty (30) months from the date of manufacture.
At its option, SunRay will repair or replace any SunRay product which has failed due to a defect in material or workmanship during this warranty period.
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects in the solar pump motor
- Defects in materials or workmanship
- Controller and electronics failures under normal use
- Solar panel defects (panels carry their own manufacturer warranty)
What's Not Covered
- Damage caused by improper installation or use
- Damage from acts of God (lightning, floods, earthquakes)
- Normal wear and tear
- Unauthorized disassembly of the product (voids warranty)
- Damage from operating without the SunRay controller
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
Warranty Registration
To activate your warranty:
- Locate your serial numbers — found on the pump and controller
- Register your product — contact us with your serial numbers and proof of purchase
- Keep your receipt — original proof of purchase is required for warranty claims
Important: A SunRay controller must be installed in conjunction with the pump to validate the warranty.

Solar Panel Warranty
Solar panels included in SunRay complete kits carry their own manufacturer warranty, typically 25 years for power output and 10-12 years for materials. Contact us for specific warranty details for your kit's panels.
